ANECO enters A Memorandum of Agreement Signing on Adopt-a Forest Program with Butuan City Water District (BCWD). Clearly provided in the MOA that ANECO Inc. expressed its interest to participate in the Adopt-a-Forest Program of the BCWD for three major directions: To help save the Taguibo Watershed To empower and uplift the economic and social lives of the upland setters who are deemed member-consumers owners (MCOs) of ANECO Inc. To strongly support the National Electrification Administration (NEA) Memorandum No. 2019-028, dated May 20, 2019, that enjoin all the Electric Cooperatives (ECs) in the country to actively support the nationwide NEA-EC Tree Planting/Nurturing and Line Clearing Activities dubbed as โGolden Aim for Green.โ

Agusan del Norte | The Agusan del Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ANECO) recently conducted an onsite visit to residents of Sitio Lavintik and Sitio Ihap, both located in Barangay San Antonio, Remedios T. Romualdez (RTR), to evaluate the impact of the electrification project that brought electricity to the communities in December 2024.The electrification was made possible through a province-funded initiative led by Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante, Governor of Agusan del Norte, aimed at expanding access to electricity in remote and underserved areas of the province.The visit was conducted to assess how the energization has affected the lives of residents and to gather feedback on the progress and improvements experienced by the communities since gaining access to electricity. Brigada Eskwela
ANECO Inc. being one of the local education stakeholders regularly takes part and participates in the annual Brigada Eskwela also known as the National Schools Maintenance Week of the Department of Education. It integrates all its pledged resources to schools in ensuring electrical safety and sharing its resources.

ANECO, Inc. regularly donates sacks of rice to Bahay Silongan (home for the abandoned children) and Por Cristo Foundation Inc. (home for the abandoned elderly). This ground-up CSR initiative and a humble gesture of the coop being a non-stock, non-profit and service oriented, goes towards feeding those abandoned children and elderly and providing them access to sufficient amount of food to nourish and provide foundation for active lives.
