ANECO Youth Electricity Savers Advocate

BCSAT Students Say “YES!” to a Brighter Future with YESA November 12,2025- This morning, something special happened at Butuan City School of Arts and Trades (BCSAT). ANECO Inc.’s CCPRO came to share the YESA (Youth Electricity Savers Advocate) program, and nearly 100 students from Grades 9-12 showed up ready to make a difference! It was clear BCSAT is serious about helping students create a better future. Dr. Rosemarie D. Paceño, the Assistant High School Principal, welcomed everyone with a warm and inspiring message. But the real highlight? Hearing from ANECO scholars – young people just like them – who shared why YESA matters. They talked about simple ways to save energy, how to stay safe, and how ANECO is working right here in our community to make things better for everyone. You could feel the energy in the hall as students eagerly answered trivia questions and learned practical tips they could use at home and at school. Ten students were chosen as YESA leaders, promising to spread the word and make a real impact. It wasn’t just a presentation; it was a conversation, a chance for students to connect with each other and with the idea that they can be part of the solution. We left feeling hopeful and inspired, knowing that these young people have the power to create a brighter, more sustainable future for all of us. #beaYESA
